TWO MOVEMENTS EMPOWERING PARENTS & CHILDREN

Wait Until 8th and Let Grow are two movements empowering parents and children to grow into capable, confident, and happy adults, while simultaneously allowing children to be children a little bit longer.

Wait Until 8th

The Wait Until 8th pledge empowers parents to rally together to delay giving children a smartphone until at least the end of 8th grade, with the goal of protecting children in the elementary and middle school years from the distractions and the dangers of a smartphone (think unrealistic social pressures, cyberbullying, and so much more).

Let Grow

Let Grow is leading the movement for childhood independence; they believe today’s children are smarter and stronger than society gives them credit for, and their mission is to provide a wide range of activities, resources, and organizations that empower both kids and parents to regain this sense of self-confidence and independence.
