Located in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Marrakech, Rosemary is an intimate riad where every inch has been thoughtfully considered and designed by lifestyle brand LRNCE’s co-founders and partners, Laurence Leenaert and Ayoub Boualam, to celebrate local craftsmanship, art, and design. Believed to have been designed originally by Belgian architect Quentin Wilbaux, who was famously obsessed with the riads of Marrakech, Rosemary has undergone a complete and thoughtful refurbishment. Every corner reveals stories of Morocco’s vibrant heritage and Laurence’s own creative spirit—a textural haven and contemporary Moroccan escape.
With just five rooms, Rosemary has been designed to feel like an incredibly chic and welcoming private home, where no detail has been overlooked, from the LRNCE-designed bathrobes to the custom-made bed linens. A stunning, hand-carved, cedar wood front door, terrazzo tiles surrounding the pool in the courtyard, wrought iron daybeds on the roof terrace, and hand-painted plates on the kitchen wall add to the authentic aesthetic. (They even have their own soundtrack, Rosemary.)
Experiences include hand painting ceramics with Laurence, indulging in the rosemary-scented Moroccan hammam, and dining (on request) with talented chefs to create family-style feasts featuring local and seasonal flavors of the souks to create memory-making meals. At Rosemary, you are encouraged to relax hard, sleep late, and have fun.
