What is your greatest extravagance?
KW: Fully indulging in leisure time, getting out from under the radar and turning off the computer, the phone and being in the moment.  And then spending this leisure time at an incredible spa like Amangiri, nestled within the majestic beauty of nature, or surfing and riding horses at Nihiwatu resort on Sumba Island.

When and where were you happiest?
KW: I’m so fortunate to be a very happy person and have been as long as I can remember.  But whenever and wherever I am with my family is my most happiest time. Time together is so precious and a luxury.

What is your most treasured possession?
KW: Family photos and archives of projects and products that I’ve designed from when I was little to current day.  These mementos keep a whole spectrum of emotions and cherished personal milestones close to my heart.  

Who is your fiction hero?
KW: Lila and Lenù, the two heroines of My Brilliant Friend and the Neapolitan novels trilogy by Elena Ferrante.  They both have such tenacious, fearless and complicated character traits and are inexplicably connected to each other.  I love how they both tap into their own unique strengths through difficult circumstances.

KW:  Stay curious, love color, take risks…
