One of our favourite spaces (we first discovered the amazing artist Enoc Perez here!), Harper’s Books, founded in 1997, is dedicated to exploring the relationships between fine art, photography, rare books, archives, and ephemera. From discovering and exhibiting new and emerging contemporary artists, to a truly incredible collection of rare and unique art books, to an amazing selection of objets d’art, Harper’s is a treasure trove of all things art.
Their main space in East Hampton, New York, functions as both a bookshop and a gallery, where they mount exhibitions each summer and serve as a cultural hub of the Hamptons. The gallery in New York City, Harper’s Apartment, was established in 2016 and focuses exclusively on contemporary art.
Harper’s also exhibit at international rare book and art fairs, including EXPO Chicago, UNTITLED, Art Miami Beach, Paris Photo, and The New York International Antiquarian Book Fair.
