Chef Kwame Onwuachi is no stranger to pushing boundaries, and his latest restaurant (following the stratospheric success of Tatiana in NYC) is no exception. Dōgon is an homage to the history and culture of both Washington DC and West Africa’s Dogon tribe. With a nod to Onwuachi’s own Nigerian, Jamaican, Trinidadian, and Creole background, Dōgon serves vibrant cuisine rich in colors and culinary heritage, along with an incredibly curated and inventive cocktail list that also highlights Black-owned brands.
