The British Friends of the Art Museums of Israel (BFAMI) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to support educational programmes that share the rich artistic and cultural history of Israel with future generations across all strata of society. In addition, BFAMI raises funds for the acquisition of artwork for the Israel Museum in Jerusalem and the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
A highlight on the BFAMI calendar of events is their annual Women in Art lunch, hosted at the Berkeley Hotel in London. This year BFAMI honored photographer, filmmaker, and author Mary McCartney, and hosted an “In Conversation With” talk between Mary and Chef Ruth Rogers, Founder of the iconic River Café in London.
